How do I choose without smelling it first?
Start with a discovery set. Eight 2 ml sprays cover every family we make, and it is a far better decision than guessing at a 50 ml bottle.
What is the difference between eau de parfum and eau de toilette?
Concentration. Eau de parfum carries more fragrance oil, so it sits closer to the skin for longer. Eau de toilette is lighter and brighter, and usually needs reapplying. Each product page says which it is.
How long will it last on skin?
Our eau de parfums generally hold 6–8 hours, the eau de toilettes 3–5. Skin type, weather and where you spray all change that considerably.
Where should I spray it?
Pulse points — wrists, neck, inner elbows. Two or three sprays is plenty for an eau de parfum. Do not rub your wrists together; it crushes the top notes.
How should I store it?
Upright, capped, away from sunlight and heat. A bathroom windowsill is the worst place in the house. Stored properly, an unopened bottle keeps for years.
